THE ROLE

As a Senior Accountant, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality tax and accounting services, while mentoring junior team members and building strong client relationships. This is ideal for a technically strong public practice professional who enjoys both client-facing work and team leadership.





KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare and review complex individual, company, partnership, and trust tax returns
Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards
Ensure compliance with Australian tax laws and regulatory requirements
Stay up to date with changes in tax legislation and accounting standardsIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery
Build and maintain strong client relationships
Manage workflow for the team
Assist with the provision of business advisory and coaching services

ABOUT YOU
Minimum 4 years' experience in Australian public practice
Robust technical knowledge of Australian tax legislation and financial reporting standards
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to manage deadlines across multiple client portfolios
Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capability
High level of professionalism and integrity
