Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Community College (HKCC) is a not-for-profit community college with a proud history of delivering education and training that changes lives. We are seeking a motivated and organised VET Programs Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day operation of our mostly government-funded training programs, including ACE, NSA and Smart and Skilled. This is a varied role that combines program coordination, compliance and student support. Working closely with students, trainers and community partners, you will help create positive learning experiences and support learners to overcome barriers and achieve their education and employment goals.
Key responsibilities
Coordinate the delivery of VET programs, including those funded under ACE, NSA and Smart and Skilled.
Manage student enrolments, eligibility processes and LLNDE assessments.
Ensure student eligibility, enrolment and program documentation meet funding and compliance requirements.
Monitor student progression and support positive learner outcomes.
Coordinate trainer schedules, timetables and delivery readiness.
Develop and maintain VET program and compliance documentation.




Coordinate compliance requirements and maintain audit readiness.
Work collaboratively with trainers, students and community partners, and represent HKCC at community events and promotional activities.
Contribute to continuous improvement and quality outcomes across the VET team.
About you
Experience working within an RTO, adult education or related environment.
Robust organisational and administrative skills.
Understanding of VET compliance and funded training programs.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.
A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment would be an advantage.
Demonstrated ability to build rapport with people from diverse backgrounds and provide practical, person-centred support.
Commitment to supporting learners from diverse backgrounds and delivering positive student experiences.
