We are looking for an experienced Quality Control Officer to join the manufacturing team at our Caringbah facility.
n
This is a hands‐on role suited to someone who enjoys working closely with production and has a strong eye for detail.
n
About the Role
n
Working closely with Production and Quality teams, you will be responsible for ensuring products consistently meet required specifications, quality standards and customer requirements.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Conducting routine quality inspections and testing of PVC pipe and manufactured products
n
Checking product dimensions including diameter, wall thickness and length
n
Carrying out visual inspections and identifying product defects
n
Sampling and testing products throughout the production process
n
Recording test results and maintaining accurate QC documentation
n
Identifying and reporting non-conforming products
n
Working with production operators to investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions
n
Monitoring production against specifications and quality procedures
n
Supporting calibration and maintenance of measuring and testing equipment
n
Maintaining traceability and quality records
n




Contributing to continuous improvement across production and quality processes
n
n
The role involves working directly on the manufacturing floor, so you will need to be comfortable being hands‐on and actively involved in production quality.

About You
n
We are looking for someone who has:
n
n
Previous experience in Quality Control within a manufacturing environment
n
Experience with plastics, PVC, extrusion, pipe manufacturing or a similar industry highly regarded
n
Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
n
Good understanding of measurements, specifications and tolerances
n
Ability to identify quality issues and communicate them clearly to production
n
Strong written and computer skills for maintaining quality records
n
Ability to work independently while also being part of a production team
n
A strong commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement
n
n
Experience working to Australian Standards and within an ISO **** quality environment will be highly regarded.
