Position: Cleaner
Location: Sydney CBD
Hours: Monday to Friday 6:00pm to 10:00pm
Weekend Work: Available for those seeking extra hours
Contract: Casual, with the chance to transition to permanent employment based on performance and business requirements
Travel: 2 to 4 sites per shift
Roster: Fortnightly roster with shifts starting at one of the allocated sites
About the Role
You will clean a variety of community facilities including:
Libraries
Childcare centres
Town halls
Community venues
Recreation centres
Depot facilities
Key Duties
Cleaning bathrooms and amenities
Maintaining kitchens and common areas
Vacuuming and general floor care
Dusting surfaces and touchpoints
Collecting rubbish
General cleaning duties
Maintaining a clean, protected and welcoming environment
Training
During your training period, you will work across multiple sites to learn the contract and build experience.
Once fully trained, you will transition to a primary site.
To Be Successful in This Role, You Must:
Have previous cleaning experience
Have a reliable vehicle and be able to travel between sites




Be physically fit and capable of performing all cleaning duties
Hold a National Police Clearance issued within the last 6 months
Be able to pass a medical assessment and drug & alcohol test
Work independently with strong attention to detail
Be reliable, punctual and committed to evening shifts
Have a good level of written and spoken English
