About the Role
n
An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated registered nurse with experience in Colorectal, Urology and Gastroenterology. You would be responsible for providing comprehensive nurse care including, but not limited to:
n
n
Managing the physical and emotional well-being of the patient
n
Administration of medication in accordance with hospital procedures and policies
n
Assist with medical and diagnostic procedures carried out on the ward.
n
Effective admission & discharge processes in accordance with hospital or ward guidelines
n
Participate in ongoing education by attending training and study days as required or requested
n
n
Classifications for this position will range between YP3 – YP9 ($86,****** - $107,****** per annum, pro rata).

Your Contribution

Bachelor of nursing
n
Current AHPRA registration without restrictions
n
Previous experience in Colorectal, Urology and Gastroenterology nursing is desirable
n
Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
n
Demonstrated time management with ability to prioritise activities
n
Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain
n

About 7 East
n
7 East is a 28 bed ward caring for patients under the Colorectal, Urology and Gastroenterology units. It is a fast-paced ward with high acuity, admitting patients both electively and through the Emergency Department. The team is highly skilled and supportive with a strong focus on multidisciplinary care, education and research.
