Job Description
The successful Design Manager will service the business heading up the design management team and plays a key part in stakeholder and client relationships at the early stages of the project.
You will work closely with the estimating and delivery teams to develop work winning strategies and identify value engineering proposals to ensure productive and cost-effective construction detailing.
You will manage, lead and mentor several Design Managers whilst working closely with the senior leadership team reporting to the Construction Manager/ Project Manager.
Key responsibilities
Head up the design management team
Manage stakeholder and client relationships at early project stages

Identify value engineering proposals to ensure efficient and cost-effective construction detailing
Manage, lead and mentor several Design Managers
Work closely with the senior leadership team
About you
Bachelor and/or Master's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture or similar
Minimum 2 years' experience in a Design Management role for a Builder
Project Management Experience demonstrating Time, Cost and Scope understanding
Demonstrated experience in functional briefs, consultant scopes and engagements
Experience working high-rise residential developments over $100M
Good temperament with established presentation and communication skills
