An opportunity exists for highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurses to work on a full time basis in our Anaesthetic Department. We will also consider casual or permanent part time.

Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA
n
Minimum of 3 years' experience in an Anaesthetics Department, either in a day surgery unit or operating theatre environment.
n
The ability to work both independently and within a team structure.
n
Demonstrated understanding of current relevant guidelines, regulations and standards.
n
Understanding of the ACORN & National Standards
n
Candidates with a postgraduate qualification in perioperative nursing will be highly regarded.
n




Excellent communications and interpersonal skills; the ability to engage positively with all stakeholders
n
Commitment to quality, best practice and environmental safety
n
Knowledge of legal and ethical requirements
n
Demonstrated knowledge of professional standards
n
Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills.
n
Hold a passport or visa that allows you to live and work in Australia.
n
Valid Working with Children and Police Check.
n
Post Graduate
Certificate/Diploma
in Anaesthetics (Perioperative Nursing) or working towards.
n
Well controlled nurse patient ratio, in compliance with state-wide guidelines
n
Breaks given timely to staff as per WHS guidelines
n

May be offered permanent position after 6 months depending on probationary performance

Candidates need to demonstrate immunity against TB, Measles, Diptheria, Pertussis, Hepatitis B, Rubella, Varicella, Tetanus and the Mumps. Employees will only be offered employment if they meet our immunisation requirements.
