This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who takes pride in their work, leads by example, and can effectively manage a busy construction site. The role will involve working with site supervisors and also solely looking after small projects.
Key responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily civil construction activities
Lead and manage site crews and subcontractors
Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications
Read and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications
Coordinate plant, equipment, materials, and labour requirements
Monitor project progress and report to the Site Supervisor / Project Manager
Conduct pre-starts, toolbox talks, and site inductions as required
Ensure compliance with WHS requirements and company procedures
Maintain quality control and ensure works meet required standards
Identify and resolve site issues and coordinate solutions
About you




Previous experience as a Civil Foreman or Leading Hand in civil construction
Strong knowledge of civil construction practices and procedures
Experience supervising crews and subcontractors
Ability to read and understand civil construction plans
Strong understanding of WHS requirements
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to organise and prioritise work in a fast-paced environment
A robust work ethic and commitment to delivering quality outcomes
Current driver's licence
Relevant construction qualifications and tickets will be highly regarded
