Sales Representative / Business Development Representative
YANGZI INTERNATIONAL (AUS) PTY LIMITED – Bankstown NSW
This is a field-based sales role focused on developing new business opportunities with key customers — including major channel distributors and flooring retailers — building long-term partnerships, and supporting the company's sales growth across the market. You will be responsible for visiting key account partners and store retailers, introducing our product range, maintaining regular communication with customers, and helping establish and grow long-term commercial relationships.
Key responsibilities
Identify, approach and develop new business with key customers, including major channel distributors and store retailers
Manage and grow relationships with key accounts, ensuring ongoing engagement and repeat business
Conduct regular field visits to distributor warehouses, retail showrooms and stores, and maintain professional customer relationships
Present our flooring product range (timber, engineered, laminate and vinyl products) clearly and confidently to key customers and retail partners
Support the setup and ongoing maintenance of partner locations, display points and sample displays
Keep accurate records of visits, follow-ups and sales activity for key accounts




Work closely with the team to achieve business development and sales targets across the channel and retail network
About you
Solid communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage at both management and store level
Self-motivated, proactive and comfortable working independently
Previous sales, business development or customer-facing experience preferred; experience in flooring, building materials, wholesale distribution or key account management is an advantage
Comfortable with field-based work and visiting customers in person
Valid driver licence and access to your own vehicle preferred (required for carrying product samples and visiting trade partners)
Reliable, organised and able to follow up consistently with key customers
