The Company
Our client is a large Federal Government organisation leading significant digital transformation initiatives. The organisation is committed to delivering modern, user-focused business solutions and is investing heavily in contemporary testing practices, automation frameworks, and DevOps capabilities to support high-quality outcomes.
The Role
As a Functional Automation Test Analyst, you will be responsible for delivering both manual and automated testing activities across enterprise applications and digital platforms. Working within a mature testing practice, you will support the testing of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps, Power Pages, and Dataverse-based applications.
You will play a key role in ensuring business systems are reliable, scalable, and fit for purpose through comprehensive testing strategies, automated regression testing, and integration of testing into CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities
Design, develop,



execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases
Perform functional, system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing
Develop and maintain automated UI and API test suites
Support testing of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions
Analyse requirements and create effective test scenarios and test plans
Manage defects and work collaboratively with delivery teams to resolve issues
Integrate automated testing into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
Validate end-to-end business processes and enterprise application workflows
Contribute to continuous improvement of testing frameworks, processes, and methodologies
Collaborate within Agile multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality outcomes
Requirements
Demonstrated experience testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or Power Platform applications, including Power Apps, Power Pages, and Dataverse
Strong experience across UI, functional, integration, system, regression, and UAT testing
Proven hands‐on experience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, EasyRepro, or similar
Experience with API and integration testing using tools such as Postman, Newman, REST Assured, or Playwright API testing
Experience integrating automated test suites into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines




Strong proficiency with Azure DevOps, VS Code, source control, defect management, and test reporting tools
Solid understanding of SDLC principles and Agile delivery methodologies
Ability to quickly learn new technologies, applications, and business processes
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively
Desirable
ISTQB Automation Certification or similar certification
Experience supporting Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Power Platform, and Power BI environments
Experience with Jira or similar test and defect management platforms
Federal Government project experience highly regarded
