The Role
n
As the Principal Enterprise Architect, you will provide enterprise-wide oversight of technology strategy, architecture governance, and solution design. You will play a key role in ensuring technology investments align with business objectives, architectural standards, security requirements, and long-term organisational goals.
n
You will work closely with senior stakeholders, technology leaders, and governance bodies to guide strategic decision-making, reduce technology risk, and enable sustainable innovation.

Responsibilities
n
n
Provide enterprise-wide architecture leadership across ICT systems and programs
n
Define, maintain, and promote enterprise architecture principles, standards, and roadmaps
n
Ensure alignment between business strategy and technology investments
n
Lead and support architecture governance through review boards and design authorities
n
Identify and reduce technical debt, duplication, and architectural risk
n
Provide strategic guidance on secure, scalable, and standards-aligned technology solutions
n
Support cloud, hybrid-cloud, and enterprise integration initiatives
n




Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to drive innovation and continuous improvement
n
Influence strategic technology direction and support informed ICT investment decisions
n

Requirements
n
n
Demonstrated experience delivering secure and standards-aligned enterprise architecture outcomes
n
Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture governance frameworks and review processes
n
Experience operating within complex enterprise or government environments
n
Proven ability to identify and mitigate architectural risks, duplication, and technical debt
n
Robust stakeholder engagement, communication, and influencing skills
n
Experience developing architecture roadmaps and aligning technology strategies with business objectives
n
Understanding of cloud, hybrid infrastructure, and enterprise integration patterns
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage executive stakeholders
n

Security Clearance

Baseline Security Clearance required.
