The Role
Eastern Hills SHS is seeking to appoint a reflective and motivated instructional leader who will join their Executive team to help lead the school in its focus on high expectations and high achievement. Eastern Hills SHS is undergoing a significant transformation and is looking for a leader to bring their skills, knowledge, and enthusiasm to support this cultural growth.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to lead the Year 7 to Year 9 cohorts and have oversight of the Teach and Learning and Learning Support portfolios. They will support and coach Heads of Learning Area and Program Coordinators to maximise outcomes for both staff and students.



They will ideally be strategic in their change leadership and have the capacity to build positive relationships with students, staff, and the broader community. We seek an agile leader who can perform at a high level in both operational and leadership spaces. They should be committed to actively supporting the growth of the school's positive culture.
Eastern Hills SHS provides high-quality education to over 800 students. We are seeking an individual who has knowledge and experience to work with staff to ensure that we have a consistently high-quality approach to teaching and learning and a curriculum that engages and meets the learning needs of all students. The successful applicant should also grow partnerships with our local intake primary schools and support the successful transition of students from primary to secondary school. We have approximately 120 staff who are dedicated in helping students achieve their best and make the most of their education.
