About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Support Service Officer to join our vibrant
Specimen Reception Area
(SRA). In this key role, you will be an essential team member, and your responsibilities will include:
Unpacking and coding of diagnostic samples in our fast-paced pre-analytical area, before they are analysed in the Laboratory
Additional duties supporting this role and the Specimen Reception team will also be required.
This role would suit someone who is open to working part time to full-time hours,
rostered Monday to Friday between 11:00 am and 8:30 pm. This could also include participation in the Saturday roster, 11:00 am–2:00 pm.
A hard-working, motivated and reliable individual with a robust work ethic
Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is a team player, with the ability to work independently
An individual with strong attention to detail, positive time management skills and excellent communication skills
Strong computer literacy would also be an advantage
Previous laboratory experience would be advantageous, but not essential
