About the Opportunity:
n
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a growing civil construction team on a permanent basis, delivering a diverse portfolio of earthworks, site preparation, and infrastructure projects across South East Queensland. This is an opportunity for a hands‐on leader who enjoys taking ownership, building robust relationships onsite, and driving projects through from planning to completion. Working closely with operational teams, clients, and stakeholders, you'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. With a strong pipeline of work supporting Queensland's ongoing infrastructure growth, this position offers long‐term stability, project variety, and genuine career progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Manage the full lifecycle delivery of civil construction projects from mobilisation through to completion
n
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and progress reporting
n
Coordinate plant, labour, subcontractors, suppliers, and project resources
n
Administer contracts, including RFIs, variations, claims, and client correspondence
n
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, authorities, and principal contractors
n
Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, environmental requirements, and company procedures
n
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor safety,



quality, and project performance
n
Lead, mentor, and support supervisors, operators, and site personnel
n
Identify and manage project risks, delays, and change events
n
Assist with tender reviews, site assessments, and business development opportunities
n
n
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
n
n
Minimum 7 years' experience managing civil construction projects within Australia
n
Qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline (preferred)
n
Proven experience delivering earthworks, site preparation, or infrastructure projects valued at $1M+
n
Strong knowledge of Queensland WHS legislation and environmental compliance requirements
n
Experience administering contracts including AS****, AS****, or similar frameworks
n
Exposure to demolition, remediation, or asbestos-related projects will be highly regarded
n
Proficiency with project management and scheduling platforms such as Procore, Aconex, or MS Project
n
Current Construction White Card
n
Current Queensland Driver's Licence
n
