Cahill Transport is seeking experienced MC Drivers to join our Laverton North team, completing local work across Melbourne.

This is a full-time, Monday to Friday day shift role with ongoing work predominantly transporting general freight, along with some bulk loads.

What You'll Be Doing
n
Transporting predominantly general freight, along with some bulk loads.
n
Completing tautliner and general freight work.
n
Using dogs and chains to safely restrain bulk loads.
n
Reversing and docking safely at customer and depot locations.
n
Completing load restraint in accordance with NHVR and Chain of Responsibility requirements.
n
Working Monday to Friday on day shift, with early starts.
n
What You'll Bring
n
Current MC licence.
n
Minimum 2 years' MC driving experience.
n
Experience in local metro and general freight work highly regarded.
n
Robust load restraint skills, including experience using straps, angles, dogs and chains.
n
Confidence reversing, docking and working in tight-access areas.




n
Good understanding of fatigue management, NHVR and Chain of Responsibility requirements.
n
Reliable and safety-focused approach to work.
n
