Gerringong Dental is looking for a motivated and personable Part-Time Dental
Assistant/Receptionist
to join our team.
n
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, working across both reception and clinical areas while building genuine relationships with patients and supporting a great team.
n
You'll be an important part of the day-to-day running of the practice, helping create a welcoming and professional experience for our patients from the moment they arrive.
n
What You'll Be Doing
n
Your days will be varied, with responsibilities including:
n
n
Welcoming patients and providing a warm, friendly experience
n
Answering phone enquiries and managing appointment bookings
n
Managing reception administration, accounts and patient payments
n
Processing EFTPOS and HICAPS transactions
n
Assisting dentists and the clinical team during appointments
n
Preparing treatment rooms and patients for procedures
n
Sterilising instruments and following infection control procedures
n
Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming practice
n
Supporting the team wherever needed to keep the day running smoothly
n
n
What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is positive,



reliable and genuinely enjoys working with people.

You'll ideally have:
n
n
Previous dental experience (1+ years preferred, but not essential)
n
Experience with CareStack or similar dental software is highly regarded
n
Excellent communication and customer service skills
n
A caring, approachable and professional manner
n
Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
n
A proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative
n
The ability to work well as part of a team in a busy environment
n
A genuine interest in providing patients with an excellent experience
n
n
