As a Maintenance Manager at Minerva Foods, you will be responsible for leading a skilled maintenance team while driving preventative maintenance programs, asset reliability, capital projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will play a key role in ensuring plant uptime, safety compliance, cost control, and operational performance across a large and complex food manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop the site's maintenance team, including trades, contractors, and support personnel.
n
Develop and manage preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
n
Ensure plant and equipment reliability to maximise operational efficiency and minimise downtime.
n
Manage maintenance budgets and drive cost-effective maintenance solutions.
n
Oversee capital expenditure projects from planning through to implementation.
n
Ensure compliance with all workplace health and safety, environmental,



and regulatory requirements.
n
Work collaboratively with production and operational teams to achieve site performance targets.
n
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment reliability, efficiency, and asset life.
n
Coordinate external contractors and service providers.
n
Develop maintenance strategies aligned with business objectives and growth plans.
n
Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and asset management systems.
n

About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
n
n
Proven experience in a Maintenance Manager or Senior Maintenance leadership position.
n
Strong background within manufacturing, food processing, meat processing, FMCG, or industrial environments.
n
Trade qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Engineering, or a related discipline.
n
Demonstrated experience managing preventative maintenance systems and asset management programs.
n
Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
n
Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
n
Sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
n
Experience managing maintenance budgets and capital projects.
n
A proactive, hands-on approach with a solid focus on continuous improvement.
