Join an established engineering business in Unanderra as a Mechanical Fitter, working across a combination of workshop and customer site-based work. This is a permanent position from day one, offering variety across mechanical repairs, maintenance, and instalations

THE ROLE
n
n
Mechanical fitting, maintenance and repairs
n
Fault finding and breakdown repairs
n
Service and repair mechanical and hydraulic equipment
n
Strip, inspect, repair and rebuild mechanical components
n
Complete workshop-based repairs and assembly
n
Attend customer sites for maintenance, repairs and installations
n




Read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications
n
Follow all site and workshop WHS requirements
n

ABOUT YOU
n
n
Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade, Fitter & Turner or equivalent trade qualification - mandatory
n
Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter, Fitter & Turner or similar
n
Strong mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting ability
n
Experience working on industrial machinery, plant or mechanical equipment
n
Hydraulics 1 & 2 highly regarded
n
Hydraulic maintenance and repair experience advantageous
n
Comfortable working across both workshop and customer site environments
n
Strong safety focus and reliable work ethic
n
