We're looking for a trade-qualified Maintenance Electrician to join our Engineering team at Arnott's Virginia.
n
You'll work across high-speed manufacturing equipment, responding to breakdowns,



completing planned maintenance and diagnosing electrical and automation faults to keep our production lines running safely and reliably.
n
This is a hands-on role for an electrician who enjoys finding the cause of a problem, getting equipment running again and looking for ways to prevent the issue happening next time.
n
What You'll Be Doing
n
n
Fault-find and repair electrical issues on high-speed manufacturing equipment
n
Respond to breakdowns and minimise production downtime
n
Complete preventative and planned electrical maintenance
n
Support PLC diagnostics and troubleshoot automation systems
n
Diagnose recurring equipment issues and identify improvements
n
Complete maintenance handovers and CMMS documentation
n
Work closely with Production, Engineering and Maintenance teams
n
Contribute to equipment upgrades and continuous improvement
n
Work safely in line with site, OH&S;, GMP and quality requirements
n
n
The role spans both reactive and planned maintenance, with a strong focus on equipment reliability and improving site performance.
n
What We're Looking For
n
First and foremost, you'll be a trade-qualified Electrician who is confident working hands-on with industrial equipment.
n
Ideally, You'll Bring
n




n
Electrical trade qualification
n
Industrial electrical maintenance experience
n
Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting capability
n
Experience working with automation systems
n
Confidence supporting PLC diagnostics
n
A solid commitment to safe work practices
n
A practical, proactive approach to problem-solving
n
Clear communication and the ability to work across production and maintenance teams
n
n
Experience using SAP and working in a high-speed FMCG or manufacturing environment would be highly regarded.
