Our client, a major organisation operating within critical infrastructure, is seeking a Portfolio Analyst with strong financial and reporting expertise to support a portfolio of multiple concurrentprojects within a complex and evolving regulatory landscape.
About the role
This role sits at the intersection of financial analysis, reporting, and stakeholder engagement, supporting portfolio-level visibility across a large and varied project base within a critical infrastructure environment.
You will work across multiple concurrent projects at once, drawing on multiple data sources to consolidate reporting and provide clear, accurate insights that support decision-making, including reporting related to periodic regulatory price or compliance review cycles.
Key responsibilities
Analyse and report on portfolio performance across multiple concurrent projects
Apply robust financial analysis skills to track spend, budgets, and performance across the portfolio
Consolidate and reconcile data from multiple sources into consistent, high-quality reporting outputs
Support tracking and reporting of spend related to periodic regulatory price or compliance review cycles
Build and maintain Power BI dashboards to support portfolio reporting
Manage detailed Excel-based analysis and reporting
Engage confidently with a range of internal stakeholders to gather, validate, and present information
Adapt to a complex and evolving regulatory and operational landscape
About you
Strong financial acumen with demonstrated reporting expertise




Proven ability to manage and prioritise across multiple projects simultaneously
Demonstrated experience as a Portfolio Analyst or in a similar analytical or reporting role
Strong Power BI skills and advanced Excel capability
Experience working with multiple, disparate data sources
Prior experience within critical infrastructure or a heavily regulated sector, ideally with exposure to regulatory price review processes
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to communicate clearly across technical and non-technical audiences
A genuine cultural fit with the client's team and ways of working
