Job Description
As a Senior Analyst – Commercial Finance & Reporting, you will play a key role in delivering financial reporting, analysis and commercial insights within a high-profile central Finance function.
Working across Finance and the broader business, this role provides exposure to organisation-wide investment activity, strategic initiatives and senior decision‐making, with a particular focus on delivering high-quality financial analysis and reporting.
You will be responsible for:
Delivering financial reporting and analysis across a broad portfolio of strategic investment activity
Providing commercial insights to support investment and resource allocation decisions
Supporting governance processes across investment demand, funding and delivery
Preparing reporting and analysis for senior management and executive stakeholders
Contributing financial analysis to key half‐year and full‐year reporting deliverables
Partnering with Finance, Strategy and Business Unit stakeholders to support commercial decision‐making
Identifying trends, risks and opportunities and translating these into meaningful financial insights
Challenging assumptions and providing analysis to support better commercial outcomes
Contributing to continuous improvement and automation across reporting processes
Managing multiple reporting deliverables and competing priorities within a fast‐paced Finance environment

This is a broad commercial finance and reporting opportunity offering exposure across multiple business areas and would suit someone looking to build their experience across financial analysis, strategic investment activity and senior stakeholder decision support.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will bring
Strong experience across financial analysis, management reporting, FP&A;, commercial finance or investment reporting
An appropriate Finance qualification, ideally CA, CPA or equivalent
Strong analytical and commercial skills, with the ability to turn financial information into meaningful insights
A curious and questioning mindset, with the confidence to challenge assumptions and solve complex problems
Advanced Excel skills and strong financial analysis capability
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across Finance and the broader business
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate, high‐quality reporting
A proactive, self‐starting approach with the ability to drive outcomes independently
Experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines within a fast‐paced environment
Exposure to process improvement, reporting automation or transformation
Experience with Tableau, Alteryx or Power BI would be advantageous but is not essential
