Job Description
F Vitale & Sons Pty Ltd, a Victorian Campbellfield based family company is seeking Full Time HC & MC Drivers, for local, regional and linehaul operations.

As a driver for F Vitale & Sons you will be responsible for the following
n
n
Safely operation of heavy vehicles for local, regional, and interstate freight transport activities as directed by the Company.
n
Conducting pre-start, enroute and post-trip inspections of vehicles, trailers and equipment and promptly reporting any defects, faults, or maintenance requirements.
n
Ensuring freight is loaded, restrained, transported, and delivered safely in accordance with applicable legislation, industry standards and Company procedures.
n
Complying with all Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL) requirements, including obligations relating to fatigue management, speed compliance, mass and dimension limits, load restraint and Chain of Responsibility.
n
Accurately completing all required documentation, including work diaries, pre-start inspection reports, proof of delivery documents, electronic records and any other records required by the Company.
n
Managing work and rest hours in accordance with applicable fatigue management requirements, including Standard Hours, Basic Fatigue Management (BFM) or Advanced Fatigue Management (AFM), where applicable.
n
Loading and unloading freight where required and ensuring all load restraint equipment is used correctly, maintained appropriately, and returned to Company vehicles following delivery.
n
Maintaining Company vehicles, trailers, and equipment in a clean, roadworthy and serviceable condition.
n
Reporting all incidents, accidents, injuries, hazards,



near misses, vehicle damage, customer issues and compliance breaches to management as soon as practicable.
n
Complying with all workplace health and safety requirements, Company policies, procedures, protected work practices and customer site rules.
n
Attending and participating in training, inductions, toolbox meetings, safety meetings and compliance activities as required by the Company.
n
Maintaining all licenses, permits, medical assessments, accreditations and qualifications required to perform the duties of the position as required.
n
Providing professional and courteous service to customers, suppliers, contractors, regulators, and members of the public always.
n
Working reasonable additional hours, overnight trips, weekends, public holidays, and interstate assignments as required to meet operational requirements as needed.
n
Protecting and properly using all Company property, including vehicles, trailers, fuel cards, toll devices, mobile devices, load restraint equipment and any other assets provided by the Company.
n
Performing any other lawful and reasonable duties within the Employee's skills, competence and license class as directed by the Company.
n
Candidates must provide a drivers license report, be willing to undergo pre employment medical, drug an alcohol screening and driving assessment.
n

We are offering to suitable candidates stable full time employment within a family owned and operated company with over 50 years of operational experience, committed to working safely with well maintained fleet of equipment with an expected salary range between 85k-95k per annum plus superannuation.
