Job Description
Service Technician role reporting to the Service Manager. The position involves inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire safety equipment and systems, including panel isolation, fire doors, smoke detection, fire hose reels, fire extinguishers, hydrants, and diesel engines. The role includes call-out service attendance and office support duties.

Key responsibilities

Panel isolation and fire door inspections
n
Inspection of smoke detection compliance
n
Inspect and test fire hose reels
n
Inspect and test fire extinguishers
n
Inspect and test Hydrants
n
Flow testing
n
Battery changing
n
Maintain and record log of all equipment on site
n
Attend call-out service
n
About you
n
Minimum of 2 years' experience as service technician or related trade
n
Self-motivated
n
A team player
n
Maintain relevant certification and licenses
n
Complete Hazard/Aspects assessments (JSEAs/Take 5) before commencing any task
n
Comply with DA Fire Services policies and code of conduct
n
Comply with DA Fire Services ISO**** operational policies and procedures
n
Comply with DA Fire Services WHS&E; policies and procedures
