Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and reliable 2IC who wants to join our supportive team at our Caboolture centre. In this role, you will work within our team of qualified early learning professionals to provide high-quality care for children, promote their learning and help them to develop key skills for the future. We are looking for a dedicated, driven individual to fill this permanent part time position which will involve training and educational leadership opportunities.

In this position, you will be responsible for the overall management and administration of the service in the absence of the Nominated Supervisor, including maintaining day-to-day accounts and administrative matters. In consultation with your Centre Director, you will also be responsible to prepare, implement, and evaluate an developmentally appropriate program for individual children or groups.

Skills and Experience
n
Hold or be studying a Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent
n
Current Blue Card
n
Current (or ability to obtain) First Aid, CPR & Asthma qualifications
n
Good understanding of the Early Years Quality Framework
n
Good knowledge of the QLD Kindergarten curriculum and the current Regulation and Accreditation guidelines
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
n
A passion for children
