Job Description
Cathara Consulting is seeking a commercially focused Financial Analyst to provide strong forecasting, reporting and financial analysis with a solid focus on revenue modelling and calculations.

This position is based on site in the Northern Territory.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Forecasting demand, analysing markets and modelling revenue.
n
Managing monthly revenue calculations, billing, invoicing, reconciliations and accruals.
n
Preparing revenue, energy, pricing and volume analysis for reporting, including to the Board.
n
Assessing the commercial viability of major capital works, business development proposals and private sector opportunities.
n
Providing economic advice on costs, pricing, demand and market conditions.
n
Recommending risk management and mitigation strategies.
n
Supporting commercial outcomes required under Government Owned Corporations legislation and the Statement of Corporate Intent.

About You
n
n
Degree qualified in Economics, Accounting, Finance or similar
n
Strong commercial analysis skills, including investment analysis, forecasting, financial modelling, trends analysis, and cost/management accounting.
n
Skills in policy development, quality management, performance monitoring, and reporting.
n




Strong IT skills across word processing, spreadsheets, project management tools, and relevant business systems, experience with Pronto highly regarded
n
Strong written and verbal communication skills for engaging with senior management and
financial/operational
teams.
n
A collaborative approach with the ability to manage priorities and contribute to a supportive and positive team.
n
