An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and proactiveprofessional to join our Planning and Development team and supportthe delivery of high-quality land development outcomes across theCity. In this role, you will assess Construction, Dust, Noise andEnvironmental Management Plans, undertake subdivision inspections,and ensure civil engineering works are delivered in accordance withapproved plans, specifications and relevant legislation.
Working closely with developers, consultants and contractors,you will provide specialist advice on engineering conditionsrelating to land development, monitor compliance throughout allstages of subdivision, and assist in resolving technical issues.You will also play a key role in protecting the City's intereststhrough site inspections,



defect management and the provision oftimely, professional advice, while delivering outstanding customerservice to both internal and external stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you will bring experience in roadinspection, maintenance, civil construction or a related field,together with a strong understanding of road construction practicesand asset maintenance principles. Experience in a civilconstruction environment, particularly in a site supervisor,leading hand or road construction role, will be highly regarded,along with relevant industry training such as AAPA and ARRBcourses. With well-developed communication and interpersonalskills, you will be able to build effective working relationshipsand contribute to the delivery of safe, sustainable andhigh-quality infrastructure outcomes for the community.
To be considered for this role, you must address thefollowing selection criteria as part of your onlineapplication:
Comprehensive knowledge of construction materials andtechniques specific to the delivery of subdivisioninfrastructure, including earthworks, roads and drainage.




Demonstrated experience in supervising subdivision civilworks to ensure compliance with approved engineering drawings,technical specifications and statutory requirements.
Effective communication and negotiation skills, with aproven ability to coordinate and liaise with developers,consultants, contractors and subcontractors
A Diploma in Civil Engineering (or a related discipline),or equivalent demonstrated experience
We are offering a gross salary of
$102,707 to$110,461
per annum (Depending on Experience) and:
12% superannuation with the opportunity to co-contribute upto 5%
