Miro Psychology is a boutique private practice located in the heart of Red Hill, Brisbane. We are looking for a compassionate and skilled clinician who is seeking to maximise the flexibility that private practice offers. As a newer practice with multiple rooms, Miro Psychology can offer both a strong and established referral base with the flexibility to create a schedule that works for you. There is an chance at present to choose the practice days and hours that work for you.

The practice is founded on prioritising ethical and modern health care. We are seeking a generally registered or clinically registered psychologist who is a master at building rapport and can deliver tailored interventions. This role would suit clinicians looking for an additional 1-2 days of practice or a more full-time caseload of 3-4 days weekly.

The practice accepts referrals from a range of sources and has a reputation for providing care to individuals experiencing acute and complex trauma, eating disorders, anxiety and phobias, depression, and difficulties with adjustment. Our clinical practice is always trauma informed and neurodiverse affirming. We seek to create a safe and supportive setting for all clients from all backgrounds. Miro Psychology is also known for providing couples therapy in both regular sessions and also via our couples therapy bootcamps.

About You:
n
General or clinical registration with AHPRA
n
Current professional indemnity insurance
n
Ability to register for a Medicare Provider Number
n
A minimum of two years practice in a clinical setting
n
Training and experience in delivering a range of evidence-based therapies (EMDR is highly desirable).
n
Availability 1-2 days weekly at a minimum
n
Ability to provide professional referees or written references
n
A passionate and warm clinician who can establish rapport and create safety
n
Experience or interest in offering couples therapy not required but highly desirable
n
