Williams River Veterinary Clinic is seeking an experienced Cert 4 Veterinary Nurse to join our team. This is a permanent position, potentially 3 days per week, negotiable.

Key responsibilities

Manage the reception area
n
Communicate clearly with clients and colleagues

Assist with x-rays and dentals
n
IV set up and catheter placement
n
Blood collection
n
Administer treatments to patients
n
Handle anxious patients with a calm and gentle approach

About you
n

Cert 4 Veterinary Nurse qualification
n
Experienced in a range of nursing tasks
n
Confident in veterinary nursing procedures
n
Able to communicate clearly with clients and colleagues
n
Calm and gentle approach when handling anxious patients

Williams River Veterinary Clinic is a privately owned, mixed practice located in Clarence Town NSW. We currently employ 2-3 vets and 6 nurses. Our focus is customer service and client satisfaction and we have a very loyal, long standing clientele base. We are proud to provide a work environment that our staff enjoy being a part of. We have all the equipment we need to provide a high standard of care to our patients, including up-to-date anesthetic monitoring, pulse oximetry, DR radiology, ultrasonography, iM3 dental machine and more. We perform a wide variety of routine soft tissue surgery, and often have a large medical case load.
