An established and highly respected Brisbane-based Building Services Engineering consultancy is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join their team — someone ready to step up, not just tick boxes.

This isn't a "sit at your desk and crunch numbers" role.

You'll be:
n
n
Getting out to site and in front of clients — this is a relationship-driven role, not a back-office one
n




You'll manage multiple electrical design projects concurrently, working closely with clients, contractors and consultants from concept through to delivery.
n
Taking ownership of smaller projects and starting to build the people-leadership muscle that comes with seniority
n
Designing power and distribution — across a wide variety & diversity of projects, using the "full technical toolkit"
n
n
If you're a smart, hungry intermediate / senior Electrical Engineer looking for a genuine growth path toward a senior management role — with real autonomy, client exposure and a leader who'll back you — this is worth a conversation.

What you'll bring:
n
n
Minimum of 5 years' experience in building services consulting, in Australia
n
A relevant engineering diploma / degree (Australian institution preferred)
n
Strong working knowledge of Bluebeam software
n
Solid project management experience — programs, budgets, deliverables
n
Confident client-facing and negotiation skills
n
Comfortable running site meetings and managing multiple projects simultaneously
n
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
n
Eligibility for NER — bonus points if you're already a certified Design Practitioner under the DB&P; Act
n
Solid grasp of the relevant Standards and Codes
n
A commercial head on your shoulders — you get that time, productivity and quality all cost money
n
A well-presented, can-do attitude, and the self-motivation to run with things
n
n
You'll need to be an Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen — sponsorship is not on the table for this one.
