HBC Trading is seeking an experienced and organised Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator to manage international purchasing, supplier relationships and inventory levels.
n
The successful candidate will have 2-5 years' experience in purchasing and inventory management, preferably within the food manufacturing, FMCG, importing or wholesale industry.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Manage purchasing and follow up outstanding purchase orders.
n
Communicate and maintain robust relationships with international suppliers.
n
Coordinate international freight, transport and import requirements.
n
Organise and review shipping, quality and biosecurity documentation.
n
Monitor stock levels to maintain healthy inventory and prevent shortages or excess stock.
n
Track shipments and provide updates on expected arrival dates.
n
Work closely with internal departments to support stock requirements.
n
Identify and resolve supplier,



shipment and documentation issues.
n
Maintain accurate purchasing, inventory and supplier records.
n
n
Skills and Experience
n
n
2-5 years' experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory management.
n
International purchasing and importing experience.
n
Knowledge of international freight, shipping and transport processes.
n
Experience handling import, quality and biosecurity documentation.
n
Strong supplier communication and negotiation skills.
n
Excellent organisation, follow-up and time-management skills.
n
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
n
Ability to monitor stock levels and manage multiple orders simultaneously.
n
Confident computer skills and experience using inventory or ERP systems.
n
