Job Description
This is primarily a machine assembly position for a variety of tub-filling machinery, working from engineering drawings start to finish. Some machining may be required but this is not the main focus of this role.

Key responsibilities
n
Assembly of a variety of tub-filling machinery, start to finish from engineering drawings
n
Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
n
Work with and assemble pneumatics, conveyor parts, servo drives, gearboxes and a large variety of in-house and out sourced manufactured components
n
Testing, fault-finding and fine-tuning and in house commissioning of newly completed machines
n
Machining and fabrication of a wide variety of materials
n
About you
n
Knowledge and interest of manual metal manufacturing and machining
n
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
n
Stainless steel Tig welding experience will be very highly regarded
n




Previous experience with food packaging machinery will be highly regarded but is not a pre-requisite
n
Good communication and teamwork skills
n
Australian driver's license and must be Australian resident with appropriate trade skills for the position
