Procurement Officer
to join our growing team of 6. If you're a problem solver who knows how to navigate international markets and streamline logistics, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
Work autonomously and be responsible for
purchasing items
and materials from
local (Australian)
andinternational suppliers.
Seek suppliers through
online ecommerce websites
.
Coordination of logistics
Liaising with customs broker
and freight forwarder re shipments, custom clearance and delivery.
Review our existing product offering and identify sales opportunities by
introducing new products
currently not available in the current range.
Communicating with internal stakeholders
regarding the status of shipments (warehouse, product and sales teams).




Completing other administrative tasks on an ad-hoc basis.
Essential Qualities:
1-2 years' experience in a similar role
Experience in the hardware or the automotive industry is preferred
Proven ability to
prioritise
many tasks at once through
effective problem solving
and
strong organisational skills
Solid interpersonal skills and experience developing key relationships
Advanced experience in Excel
Excellent numerical and analytical skills
