is seeking to engage a
Senior Cloud Architect / Cloud Engineer - EL1 Level
. This is a long-term contractual position.

Contract Duration:
03 Years (12 months initially + 24 months extension)
Work Location
: Canberra (03 Days office/02 Days home per week)
Minimum 5+ years hands-on Azure Cloud experience
implementing and managing enterprise cloud solutions.
Azure architecture & solution design
– enterprise-level cloud platform architecture and high-level/detailed solution architecture.
Strong hands-on experience with:
Azure DevOps
– repositories, code management,
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
and
CI/CD pipelines/deployments
.
Identity & Security
– Microsoft
Entra ID
, Azure Key Vault and
RBAC
.
Azure Networking
– Virtual Networks, Private Endpoints and secure cloud connectivity.
Monitoring & Observability
– Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
Integration experience
– integrating Azure/cloud platforms with third-party and enterprise systems,



particularly
Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM
.
Cloud security & governance
– solutions aligned with
Australian Government / Whole-of-Government standards
.
Architecture documentation
– ability to produce solution architectures and detailed technical/architecture guidance for engineering teams.
Technical leadership
– provide architectural direction, impact analysis, technical guidance and mentor engineers/team members.
Agile delivery experience
– working in multidisciplinary teams with architects, developers, BAs, testers, Scrum Masters and business stakeholders.
Robust
stakeholder engagement
– able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work with
geographically dispersed teams
and adapt quickly when requirements/scope change.
Understanding of
DTA Digital Service Standard
and user-centred government digital delivery.
