Event Coordinator | Glasshouse, Auckland

Glasshouse is looking for an organised, detail-focused and motivated Event Coordinator to join the team in a full-time role.
n
Working closely with the Venue Manager, you'll support the planning and delivery of weddings, corporate functions, milestone celebrations and large-scale events. From the initial enquiry through to delivery on the day, you'll help ensure every detail is planned, communicated and executed to a high standard.

This opportunity would suit an experienced Event or Functions Coordinator, a current Functions Supervisor, or someone with at least 1–2 years' experience who is ready to take the next step.

The role
n

Coordinate event enquiries, bookings and administration
n
Work closely with clients to understand their vision and requirements
n
Prepare run sheets,



timelines and detailed event plans
n
Coordinate requirements with venue, kitchen and operational teams
n
Liaise with vendors, suppliers and internal stakeholders
n
Maintain clear and professional client communication
n
Support event setup, service and delivery on the day
n
Manage payments and follow up on outstanding accounts
n
Help create memorable experiences that encourage repeat business
n

About you
n
n
Previous experience in functions, events or hospitality
n
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
n
Confident and professional communication skills
n
Comfortable managing multiple events and competing priorities
n
Strong understanding of hospitality and food and beverage operations
n
Calm, solutions-focused and confident working under pressure
n
Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends when events require
n
Current NZ LCQ or relevant hospitality qualifications would be advantageous
n
