Bethany Christian Care is a not-for-profit aged care provider established in ****. We have two facilities: The Plains Retirement Village at Eight Mile Plains and Janoah Gardens Retirement Village at Manly West.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Clinical Educator is accountable for coordinating and delivering a range of clinical education and training activities.
Work closely with Clinical Governance, Clinical Managers and Clinical Nurses to provide hands on clinical support to staff and students.
Contribute to our organisation's education and training plan to ensure clinical standards meet resident needs, aged care legislation, and best practice guidelines.
Coordinate undergraduate student placements, including liaising with universities, managing bookings, documentation, and assessments.
Support new staff through orientation, onboarding, and ongoing training.
Monitor annual staff competencies to ensure safe and compliant practice.




Identify knowledge gaps and provide targeted training and coaching to care staff.
Apply evidence-based practice to deliver high-quality education and support contemporary aged care standards.
Ensure resident care aligns with professional, organisational, legal, and ethical requirements, including the Aged Care Act and Accreditation Standards.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Available to work
Monday, Thursday, and Friday, 8:00AM–4:00PM.
Ability to work collaboratively with the Clinical Team while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries.
High level clinical skills and sound clinical judgement.
Excellent attention to detail.
Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills.
Alignment with our Christian mission — this role is well suited to a practising Christian.
Previous experience as a Clinical Educator is preferred.
