About the Role
This is a hands‐on role suited to someone who is organised, reliable, safety‐focused, and comfortable working both in the yard and with computer systems.
Your responsibilities will include:
Organising and storing fabricated items within the factory and yard
Kitting up fabrication jobs ready for production and dispatch
Organising and preparing loads for galvanising
Loading and unloading materials
Operating a forklift and moving materials around the yard
Keeping the yard clean, organised, and protected
Assisting with general yard duties as required
Using computer systems to track, record, and manage materials and jobs




Working closely with the fabrication and production teams to ensure jobs are ready when required
About You
The successful candidate will:
Have a current forklift licence
Be confident using computers and job management/inventory systems
Have good organisational and time‐management skills
Be physically fit and comfortable working in a fabrication yard environment
Have a strong focus on safety and attention to detail
Be reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
Be able to work independently and take responsibility for keeping the yard organised
Previous experience in a fabrication, engineering, steel, or manufacturing environment will be highly regarded
