Membrey's Transport & Crane Hire – Dandenong VIC
We are a family-owned transport and crane hire business looking for an experiencedWelder / Boilermakerto join our workshop team.
This is a hands‐on role suited to a tradesperson who takes pride in their workmanship and is confident working across a range of transport, heavy vehicle and crane‐related equipment.
About the role
General welding and fabrication
Repairs and modifications to heavy vehicles, trailers and equipment
Structural and general steel fabrication
Maintenance and repair work on transport and crane equipment
Reading and working from drawings where required
Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
Working independently as well as as part of a small workshop team
About you
We are looking for someone who:
Hasat least 4 years' practical experienceas a Welder / Boilermaker




Has solid MIG welding and fabrication skills
Is confident working with heavy equipment and steel
Has a good understanding of workshop safety
Can work independently and take pride in producing quality work
Is reliable, hardworking and has a good attitude
Heavy vehicle, trailer or crane experience would be highly regarded
