THE ROLE
n
Our client, a Queensland State Government commission, is standing up a landmark ICT program to support child safeguarding reform across the state. As Solution Architect – D365, you will define, govern and assure the architecture of a current Case Management Platform built on Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Microsoft 365. This is a contract role based in Queensland, working within a funded, active program with clear delivery milestones through to ****.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
n
n
Lead solution architecture design for an enterprise-scale Dynamics 365 Case Management platform
n
Define conceptual, logical and technical architectures, integration specifications, environment strategies, and architecture decision records
n
Own the Dynamics 365 and Power Platform architecture, ensuring scalable, secure and supportable solutions aligned to Microsoft best practices
n
Govern document and records management capabilities across Dynamics 365, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft 365
n
Lead integration design between Dynamics 365, Azure services, Power Platform, enterprise applications, and analytics platforms
n
Contribute to Technical Design Authority and Architecture Review Board governance processes
n
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to delivery teams,



developers and administrators
n
Advise senior management on platform roadmap, technical debt, risks, and capability planning
n

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
n
n
10+ years' experience delivering enterprise-scale business application solutions, with significant time in Solution Architecture or Lead Implementation roles
n
Deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, SharePoint Online, Dataverse, Model-Driven Applications, and Power Automate
n
Demonstrated experience designing enterprise case management, workflow, or regulatory solutions using Dynamics 365
n
Strong understanding of Dataverse architecture, integration architecture, security models, role-based access control, ALM, and information governance
n
Experience working within highly governed environments, including government, justice or regulatory settings
n
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
n

NICE TO HAVE

Microsoft certifications including Dynamics 365 Solution Architect Expert, Power Platform Solution Architect Expert, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert
n
Microsoft 365 or SharePoint-related certifications
n
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
n
Experience with Azure DevOps and enterprise information management solutions
n
