Job Description
Seeking a skilled Security Analyst with SOC experience and strong capabilities in threat detection, security monitoring, vulnerability assessment and incident response.

Job Responsibilities
n
n
Conduct threat-driven analysis of system security and emerging cyber threats.
n
Analyse threat intelligence and identify system-specific risks.
n
Monitor security events and detect potential incidents.
n
Develop, maintain and execute incident response plans and playbooks.
n
Assess vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate remediation.
n
Review security controls and identify gaps or weaknesses.
n
Develop procedures for security event monitoring and analysis.
n
Support technical leadership and contribute to system testing and evaluation activities.
n
n
Key Selection Criteria
n
n
Demonstrated experience working in a SOC as a Security Analyst.
n




Hands-on experience with Splunk Enterprise Security.
n
Experience with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) platforms.
n
Experience with Network Detection and Response (NDR) platforms.
n
Experience with Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR) platforms.
n
Robust understanding of threat detection, vulnerability assessment and incident response.
n

Desirable
n
n
Knowledge of ASD Information Security Manual (ISM) and Essential Eight.
n
Experience supporting security assessments, testing and technical security operations.
n
n
