Seeking Experienced Machine Operators with Forklift Experience in Reservoir!

Located in Reservoir VIC (Northern Suburbs)
n
12 hour shifts on a rotating roster of Day and Night shifts (7am - 7pm & 7pm - 7am)
n
Flat rate of $*****ph (including casual loading)
n
n
Programmed are Currently seeking experienced machine operators / forklift drivers to join their client in Reservoir who manufacture pipes and conduit.
n
Successful applicants must have previous machine operating experience within a manufacturing environment as well as a current valid forklift (LF) licence with at least 6 months experience operating counterbalance forklifts.
n
Minimum experience / requirements:
n
n
Must have previous machine operating experience within a manufacturing environment (extrusion machine operating experience highly favorable)
n
Must hold a current Valid LF forklift licence with at least 6 months experience driving counterbalance forklifts
n
Must pass a Medical Assessment and Drug & Alcohol test before commencing
n
Must pass a Police check before commencing
n
Must be available to work 12 hour shifts on a rotating roster (day and night shifts)
n
Must be available to work every second weekend
n
Must have full work rights long-term
n
Must be physically fit, reliable,



and available to commit to long-term work
n

Responsibilities and Duties involved:
n
n
Operating Extrusion and cutting machines for the manufacturing of pipes and conduit
n
Operating counterbalance forklifts to load/unload long lengths of pipe
n
Building timber storage frames for pipes (use of hand and power tools including nail guns)
n
packing crates using a plastic auto strapper and hammer
n
Checking and recording pack weights
n
General housekeeping, manual handling and quality checks
n
The pay rate for this position is a flat rate of $***** per hour for both day and night shift (including casual loading and shift loading)
