About the role:
n
Fairway is looking for a bright and friendly experienced Lifestyle Assistant who loves working with older people.
n
n
Part-time and Casual shifts including weekends
n
Assisting Lifestyle Manager with daily operations
n
Work in a team workplace to encourage and assist our residents' to socialise and participate.
n
Provide emotional support to residents
n
Engage with residents in a caring manner
n
Facilitate group activities for the residents' to enjoy
n
Able to Drive 11 seater bus
n
Experience working in Dementia Care
n
n

The successful candidate will require:
n
n
A natural empathy and a genuine care for our care recipients
n
A Certificate 4 in Leisure and Lifestyle required or be studying for qualification
n
Basic computer skills Microsoft word, PowerPoint and documentation skills
n
Excellent communication and time management skills
n
A knowledge and understanding of the diverse needs of older people
n
A willingness to support the values of Fairway Aged Care
