About the Role
n
Reporting to the Estimating Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of production estimating across a range of developments.
n
Duties
n
n
Provide accurate pricing for contracts and variations including appropriate margin considerations
n
Obtain relevant quotes and pricing for non-standard variations
n
Negotiate rates and costs with preferred and non-standard suppliers, sub-contractors and trades
n
Produce accurate documentation within budgeted time lines
n
Maintaining a thorough knowledge of company products and services
n
Preparing accurate BOQ's
n
Excellent customer service skills, working with supervisors, suppliers, trades, and contractors
n
Maintaining trade and supplier relationships
n
n




Skills & Experience
n
n
Minimum 3 years estimating experience with a residential builder or developer is preferred
n
Diploma in Building and Construction or trade background will be highly favourable
n
Prior experience using estimating software and systems
n
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
n
Excellent customer service skills when dealing supervisors, suppliers, trades, and contractors
n
Base salary of $100K - $120k + superannuation
n
Work with an established and award winning developer within the residential construction industry
n
Staff parking available and close to public transport
n

n
Be mentored and trained by an Estimating Manager with 20+ years experience
n
