We are seeking a qualified Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic to join our construction team on a casual, weekend basis. This is a hands-on role suitable to a reliable and safety-focused mechanic who takes pride in maintaining a diverse fleet and supporting site operations.

Based in our workshop, you will play a key role in ensuring our fleet of heavy vehicles is well maintained, compliant, and operating efficiently.

What You'll Be Doing
n
Servicing, maintenance and repairs of heavy vehicles and fleet equipment
n
Working on excavators and other civil construction mobile plant as required
n
Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs efficiently and safely
n
Maintaining workshop standards, tools and parts inventory
n
Keeping accurate maintenance and service records including relevant licenses & tickets
n
Reporting major mechanical issues to management
n
Maintaining a professional and positive attitude with team members
n
What You Need to Succeed
n
Valid manual Driver's Licence
n




Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent)
n
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
n
Experience with the NHVR management (desired, not essential)
n
Proven reliability and strong work ethic
n
Full Australian working rights
