The Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Centre Chef / Cook to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new centre from the beginning — creating nutritious, balanced meals and building positive food experiences for young children.

About the Role
n
n
Plan and prepare nutritious, balanced meals and snacks in line with Australian Dietary Guidelines
n
Cater for allergies, intolerances, and cultural dietary requirements
n
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness
n
Manage food ordering, budgeting, and stock control
n
Engage positively with children to promote healthy eating habits
n




Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations
n
n
What You'll Bring
n
n
Relevant commercial cookery qualification (or experience in a similar role)
n
Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
n
Experience preparing meals for children (desirable)
n
Robust understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
n
Excellent organisational and time management skills
n
A warm, positive, and team-oriented attitude
