Eden Pasticceria is seeking a skilled and motivated Pastrycook to join our team on a full-time basis at our Five Dock location. Position Details Full-time: 38 hours per week
n
Salary: $79,500 per annum + 12% superannuation Location: Five Dock, NSW Work arrangement: In person
n
Position available for a minimum of 2 years, with the possibility of renewal based on performance and business needs
n
Duties and Responsibilities
n
n
Prepare, bake and finish a variety of pastries, cakes, biscuits, buns and other pastry products
n
Prepare doughs, fillings, creams and other pastry components
n
Follow recipes, production requirements and presentation standards
n
Ensure consistency, quality and appropriate presentation of all products
n
Monitor oven temperatures,



baking times and production processes
n
Check the quality of ingredients and finished products
n
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, equipment and baking areas
n
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace standards
n
Assist with stock control, inventory management and ordering of ingredients
n
Work collaboratively with other members of the kitchen and production team
n

Requirements
n
n
Relevant qualification, such as Certificate III or IV in Patisserie, or equivalent At least 2–3 years of relevant work experience
n
Strong knowledge of pastry preparation and baking techniques Ability to maintain high standards of quality and consistency Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced workplace
n
Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team
