H W Landells Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced CNC Router & Saw Operator to join our team in Sunshine West, VIC.
This is a full-time position based at our facility, offering a key opportunity to contribute to our carpentry and cabinet-making operations.
You will operate and maintain advanced CNC machinery and saw equipment, playing an essential role in delivering high-quality custom and bespoke cabinetry solutions to our clients.
This position is integral to our production workflow, ensuring precision, efficiency and adherence to strict quality standards.
Key responsibilities
Operate CNC routers and precision saws in accordance with operational procedures and safety guidelines
Set up machines, load materials, and programme cutting specifications using CAD files and technical drawings
Monitor machine performance during operation, making real-time adjustments to ensure quality and accuracy
Inspect finished components for defects, dimensional accuracy and surface quality before progressing to the next production stage
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating and replacing worn components
Troubleshoot machine issues and report technical problems to supervisors or maintenance staff
Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety protocols at all times
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and quality targets
Handle materials safely and comply with all workplace safety requirements and company policies
What we're looking for
Proven experience operating CNC routers and precision saws in a carpentry, cabinet-making or woodworking environment
Strong technical understanding of CNC machinery operation, tool changes and calibration
Proficiency in reading technical drawings, CAD files and production specifications




Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality standards
Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot minor machine issues
Strong work ethic with reliability and punctuality
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Current or willingness to obtain relevant certifications in machinery operation and workplace safety
Physical capability to perform the duties of the role, including standing for extended periods and lifting materials
Desirable: experience with cabinet-making software or design systems, or previous experience in custom furniture or bespoke cabinetry production
