ACT Commercial Landscape Group (ACLG) is looking for a reliable Water Truck Driver to join our team servicing government tree-watering contracts throughout Canberra.
This is a largely independent role operating one of our water trucks and completing scheduled tree-watering runs across the ACT.
We're looking for someone reliable who can be trusted to manage their workload and look after the truck and equipment.
Water Truck Driver – MR Licence

ACT Commercial Landscape Group (ACLG) is looking for a reliable Water Truck Driver to join our team servicing government tree-watering contracts throughout Canberra.
This is a largely independent role operating one of our water trucks and completing scheduled tree-watering runs across the ACT.
We're looking for someone reliable who can be trusted to manage their workload and look after the truck and equipment.
About the role
You'll be responsible for operating an ACLG water truck and completing allocated tree-watering routes safely and efficiently.
Your day-to-day work will include:
Driving and operating a water truck throughout Canberra
Watering newly planted street and landscape trees
Following allocated watering routes and schedules
Filling and operating the truck's water system
Completing basic daily vehicle and equipment checks
Accurately recording completed work
Working safely around roads, public spaces and traffic environments




Communicating with the ACLG team regarding progress, access or site issues
About you
We're looking for someone who is reliable, practical and comfortable working independently.
You'll need:
A current MR licence or higher
A good driving record and safe approach to operating heavy vehicles
Reliability and good time management
Confidence working independently and managing an allocated workload
Positive communication skills
A practical attitude and willingness to look after the truck and equipment
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and driver's licence check.
Previous water-truck, landscaping, civil or similar experience would be an advantage, but isn't essential for the right person.
