The Manufacturing Assistant supports our Manufacturing Manager and is responsible for the ordering, receipt and documentation of components used across all Kate & Kole production.
The role covers component ordering for orders across the business, preparing daily job documentation, processing incoming stock, purchase order administration and data entry.
Accuracy is the core requirement of the position, as components are ordered to exact specifications and errors delay production.
Key responsibilities
Order components for orders across the business, working from job specifications and design drawings
Prepare job documentation daily for the workshop and sales teams
Receive incoming stock, verify it against the original order, and process it into the studio
Raise and manage purchase orders, and maintain supplier and pricing records
Maintain accurate order and inventory data across our systems
Monitor stock levels and reorder points, and ...




Provide reporting and project support to the Manufacturing Manager
General studio administration, including supplier correspondence and filing
About you
Demonstrated attention to detail and a habit of verifying rather than assuming
Competence with spreadsheets, data entry and numerical records
Experience in production, inventory, stock control, purchasing or administration
Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and deadlines
Clear written and verbal communication, including with external suppliers
Ability to learn recent systems quickly
