MacKellar is looking for experienced Production Operators to join our permanent team at Carmichael Mine.
You'll operate a modern fleet on a well-established open-cut operation, working alongside an experienced crew with strong leadership and a focus on safety, reliability and production.

About the Role
You'll be responsible for safely and efficiently operating large-scale mining equipment while helping the team achieve daily production targets.
You'll be operating:
400t+ hydraulic excavators
Large production dozers
You'll also complete pre-starts, equipment checks and housekeeping,



report faults and work closely with Supervisors and other operators to keep production moving safely and efficiently.
What You'll Need
We're looking for operators who have:
12+ months' recent experienceoperating 400t+ excavators and/or large production dozers in open-cut mining
CurrentRII competencies or verified site training transcriptsissued within the past 5 years
CurrentStandard 11
Current Australian Driver's Licence
A strong commitment to protected operating practices
A positive attitude and ability to work as part of a high-performing crew
Ability to meet all site access and pre-employment requirements
