We are seeking an engaging, tech-savvy, and self-motivated Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our agile orthodontic team. This position offers a consistent 2 days per week schedule, split between our Western and Eastern suburb locations. For the right candidate, there is a genuine opportunity to increase days in the future as our practice continues to grow. Key responsibilities
Provide efficient, high-quality assistance during orthodontic procedures
Take great pride in building warm, trusted relationships with our patients and their families
Demonstrate sharp active listening and observation skills during patient discussions, accurately processing information and translating it seamlessly into clinical notes during/post-appointment
Maintain an effective, organized, and clean clinical environment,



including the management of stock levels and lab work orders
Confidently navigate the clinic's digital systems and tech tools

About you
Possess fluent verbal and written communication skills
Can listen to a patient or doctor, whilst completing sterilisation or assisting chair-side and document them accurately
Notice the small details and are preemptive, anticipating clinical needs and preparing tools or steps before the clinicians ask
Take initiative, see what needs to be done, and thrive in a busy team workplace
Naturally energetic and love interacting with people of all ages. Gentle and patient when working with nervous and younger age groups.
Experience in general dental assisting, medical or dental reception, or hospitality is encouraged
